The 1st International Applied Bioinformatics Conference (iABC ’21) will serve as an excellent international convention for sharing knowledge, challenges and results in applied research in Bioinformatics and Informatics.
The conference especially welcomes work centered on the application of Bioinformatics concepts and algorithms for biological knowledge generation and welcomes topics relating to challenges of biological applications and use cases which are still not solved properly in order to open new directions for further informatics research.
iABC’21 also invites papers relating to cutting edge information technology applied on biological use cases, Bioinformatics tools/workflows, best practices, calls for novel algorithms, translation of novel algorithms, and workshops/hands-on tutorials of novel Bioinformatics tools and workflows.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Authors are invited to submit electronically original contributions in English. Submitted papers should not exceed 5 pages in pdf in IEEE format https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html . All submissions will be evaluated by at least three referees from iABC’21 Scientific Board.
One of the authors of an accepted paper must register to iABC’21 conference and present the paper.
For paper registration and electronic submission see https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iabc21 starting from October 2020.
Extended versions, 12-15 pages, of selected accepted conference papers will be invited for submission to a special issue in Journal of Integrative Bioinformatics (JIB) https://www.degruyter.com/view/j/jib or in International Journal of Bioinformatics Research and Applications (IJBRA) https://www.inderscience.com/index.php .
